AIM

The award was established with the aim of promoting innovative rehabilitation projects in the fields of physical medicine and rehabilitation, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and orthotics, capable of having a tangible impact on people’s quality of life as well as on the work of the professionals involved.

In a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, innovation involves not only the introduction of new technologies, but also the development of multidisciplinary care pathways, advanced organizational solutions, and patient-centered care models.

WHO IS THIS FOR

Awards will be given to the best projects in the following areas:

• Technological innovation in physical medicine, physical therapy, and orthotics, for the Technology Innovation in Care category
• Organizational models and multidisciplinary care pathways, for the Team Excellence in Care category

1. Who can participate: Healthcare professionals | Multidisciplinary teams | Public and private institutions | Universities and research centers | Startups and companies in the sector operating in the fields of physical medicine and rehabilitation, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and orthopedic technology.
2. Project requirements: Projects must be already implemented or in an advanced stage of testing, with documented preliminary or established results. Technologies must have been introduced no more than 2 years ago. Companies may not submit individual products but rather projects to which the products have contributed.
3. Evaluation criteria: The jury, composed of industry professionals, will evaluate: Innovation – Clinical impact – Sustainability – Replicability – Methodological quality.
4. Selection and visibility: From among the submitted projects, 3 finalists will be chosen per category and officially presented during the awards ceremony at the fair on April 23 at 5:00 PM.
