Cohousing is a form of residency where private living spaces benefit from additional collective spaces for communal activities.

You will find the Cohousing Space in Horus Area at Exposanità 2022. The project is dedicated to the creation and settings up, of areas and shared spaces belonging to cohousing.

They will be designed and set up in design for all and will host different activities, including: conviviality, with activities related to the dining area; communication (Internet area/ media point) for learning, use and sharing of ICT systems and technologies; daily activities (bathroom area + shared laundry), but also relaxation (area home wellness and green).

The design of the Space cohousing was entrusted by Exposanità to a multidisciplinary team led by Eng. Maria Rosaria Motolese and prof. Niccolò Casiddu, director of the DAD Department of Architecture and Design of the University of Genoa.
Study and design of forms, spatiality and additions of the areas that will be set up will follow the criteria of accessibility and usability ‘for all’ with particular attention to the flexibility and pleasantness of the aesthetic appearance to create conditions of comfort and well-being of cohousers.

Companies that want to participate in the sponsorship of the initiative, will become partners and can contribute to the Cohousing Special Event with one or more of their products, from furniture to technical components, technology systems, accessories, etc..
